Forest
My studio sits back from the sea, edging an area of heath and woodland. I spend a lot of time walking in these woodlands, watching the refracted light breaking through the trees and the changing colours of each season. I’ve got to know these small forests quite well, along with the areas where the deer and other creatures gather and pass through. I find that the patterns and structures that the forest makes are incredibly strong and bold and have probably structured a lot of my work.
